Jonny and Kyla picked me up from the airport! So nice! A big THANK YOU for that! They showed me “Karioitahi Beach”. A really nice and easy soaring flying site! Even “Little One” could fly for hours and top land for a break. So peaceful … so nice!!!

After a week in Manilla I went to the Blue Mountains close to Sydney. I had a wonderful time in the blue mountains. To be there it’s like living in a fairy tale especially when you see the garden of Ian where I stayed for few days.

Manilla

One night in Sydney and I headed of north to Manilla by train. Got a nice lift to the camping side, had a wonderful nice company on the campsite and some interesting flights with my Little One and one good flight with an elephant glider … but at least I did cloud base. I know now why Manilla is such a good xc sight.

Arrived in Sydney I suffered a big cultural shock. Leave it with that … Australia is different!
