… Peru is soooo beautiful … not only from the sky!

Arrived in Cusco on Sunday, left for a 2 days Machu Picchu tour on Monday morning with stopping in Ollantaytambo for 2 hours. Next day got up early to walk up to Machu Picchu to see the sunrise. All what we saw was rain and fog. Well sun came a bit later. This place has something … you feel like on the doorstep to the Inka World but with realizing that you know nothing. I wanted to find a book … later somewhere. I climbed up to Huaynapicchu … enjoyed the view from the “nose” of Machu Picchu and wondered around the old ruins.
My book found me the next day at the airport in Cusco flying back to Lima and home. I found a peruvian author in this little shop and after one hour chatting with him he gave me 2 of his novels about Machu Picchu to read. He was like waiting for me in this bookshop. Nice coincidence!

I wished I had more time …

… I love Bolivia and I love to fly

Needed a change from “und täglich grüßt das Murmeltier” (means Iquique) and decided to go to La Paz for few days. I couldn’t fly here but who cares?! La Paz is so beautiful and it’s perfect for shopping! That’s what I did!
